Profishient Charters is Saugatuck’s largest independent fishing charter operator, running three boats from our convenient Downtown Saugatuck location.   In the early spring, our boats make the trek down to Michigan City each April to cash in on the hottest spring time coho fishing action.   As the fish begin to migrate north with the cold water and baitfish, Profishient Charters relocates its fleet to the ports of St Joseph, South Haven, and eventually Saugatuck during the month of May and fish here the remainder of the season.

Spring time action during the months of April and May can be white hot wherever the Profishient fleet is located.   By constantly staying with the fish, we ensure our customers the best chance at consistent fishing.

During the summer months the fish begin to stage off their eventual spawning rivers, and the Profishient fleet capitalizes on this by locating its fleet in downtown Saugatuck.   The port of Saugatuck is one of the most prolific multi specie ports on Lake Michigan, with regular mixed catches of King and Silver Salmon, along with Steelhead, Lake Trout and Brown Trout.
