Another factor to consider is the hours that you fish. Profishient fishing charters offers 8 and 5 hour charters.  Our captains recommendation is the 8 hour morning charter and the reason is simple....we strive to put the angler in the best situation to maximize their fishing success! On shorter fishing charters you catch the tail end of the morning bite and pull lines right at the peak of the mid day bite! Profishient fishing charters maximizes your fishing times by putting your angling success first! This charter option is designed for our guests who are looking for the maximum fishing experience with a shot at the new 5 fish per angler limit.

Do we run charters in the afternoon?  This charter option is for customers with a tight schedule who want to combine the charter fishing experience with some spectacular sunsets.   This option is perfect for families or first time charter customers.

We also run a special weekday only 1-4 angler twilight trip from 6-10pm for perch or walleye (if consistent fishing is available).

And finally the most important factor when booking a fishing charter is how frequently your charter captain actually fishes! Many if not most other charter operators fish far less frequently than you think, and that has a BIG impact on their ability to catch fish on a consistent basis. Most charter operators run 1-2 charters per week....thats it! Profishient Charters runs trips 7 days a week and is on the water consistently during the peak fishing months. This enables us to "put the fish to sleep" and wake them up every morning! When shopping for a charter....ask the captain when was the last time he fished, or how often he has fished in the past 2-3 weeks. This will speak volumes of their reputation and ability to get you on the fish. Remember.....its the best charter boats that are consistently booked throughout the season, and for good reason! The small print.....Profishient Charters will NOT under any circumstances introduce any sort of gasoline surcharge as other charter operators may impose after you arrive for their charter. Our prices stand as advertised below, regardless of gasoline prices.

Trips cancelled due to weather deemed unsafe by the captain will be rescheduled or refunded in full.   Cancellations by the customer prior to three weeks before the scheduled charter date will be fully refunded.  

Fishing times are "dock to dock" or limit catch. The crew will clean, filet, and bag your fish for you to transport home.   Shipping, smoking, and dry ice services are also available upon request.
