Beginning in mid-May, we are running our fishing charters from Saugatuck, Michigan pursuing thousands of salmon migrating from the warm southern end of Lake Michigan which can produce average catches of 15-25 salmon per half day charter fishing trip during the month. The second week of July begins the summer season which lasts through the end of August. Consistent catches of King Salmon and Coho Salmon along with pleasant summer weather make this an ideal time for a successful fishing charter. Many outstanding catches are produced as the salmon begin to migrate back down towards their home rivers in preparation for the annual spawning run. Labor Day weekend signals the start of the annual runs up the river by the King Salmon. Most of our fishing charters will concentrate around the mouth of the Kalamazoo river, producing excellent catches of 20 plus pound Kings and Silvers. Directions: Chicago/Indiana: 1-94 E to 196 N.
